Hamburg: 18 injured in riot

Rioting broke out at a Hamburg street festival and 18 people were injured, police said today.

Hamburg police spokesman Rais Kunz said an annual neighbourhood festival that drew 8,000 people with food booths and live music deteriorated late last night when a small group of revellers started throwing stones through windows.
