Four killed in Pakistan house blast
Witnesses and a local intelligence official say a blast destroyed a house in a Pakistani tribal region near the Afghan border, and a missile strike is suspected.
The intelligence official says at least four people were believed killed in Tapi village in North Waziristan in the explosion today.
Area residents Ayaz Khan and Noor Rehman say local militants immediately surrounded the site. They say they saw a drone in the air before the explosion at about 3pm.
The US is believed to behind many missile strikes against suspected militant hide-outs in Pakistan’s tribal regions.
