Obama introduces running mate Biden
Barack Obama introduced Senator Joe Biden of Delaware as his Democratic running mate today before a cheering crowd of thousands, hailing him as a “leader who is ready to step in and be president”.
Within minutes, Biden went on the attack against Republican presidential candidate John McCain, saying the Arizona senator would have to “figure out which of the kitchen tables to sit at” when considering his own economic future.
