A speeding school bus plunged into a river in southern India today killing at least nine schoolchildren and two adults.

A speeding school bus plunged into a river in southern India today killing at least nine schoolchildren and two adults.

Police rescued 14 children and were searching for seven others believed missing, said police officer Narayanan, who uses one name.
