Airstrikes and clashes north of Kabul have killed 11 people, Afghan officials said today.

Airstrikes and clashes north of Kabul have killed 11 people, Afghan officials said today.

More than 10 people were killed yesterday in the clash near Kapisa, about 40 miles north of Kabul, the Defence Ministry said in a statement. The ministry did not say if those killed were militants or civilians.
