Poland: Father pleads guilty to baby murder

The father of a newborn baby who died after being thrown from a third-floor window in Poland has pleaded guilty to murder, a court official said today.

Renata Mazur, a spokeswoman for prosecutors in Warsaw, said they charged the girl’s 40-year-old father with murder two days after the infant was found on the pavement beneath her family’s apartment block in the Polish capital.
