UK: Woman arrested on suspicion of strangling baby while on holiday

A 20-year-old British woman has been arrested on suspicion of strangling her baby after giving birth in a hotel room in Crete, local police said today.

The woman, who has not yet been named, was arrested in Malia, on Crete’s north coast.
