Four shot dead in troubled Pakistan region
Gunmen have killed four Shiite Muslims in northwestern Pakistan.
Local police official Umar Hayyat said it was unclear who was behind today’s slaying in the town of Hangu. Officers were still investigating.
The incident comes a day after a bomb exploded at a Shiite mosque in another northwestern town, Dera Ismail Khan, killing four worshippers.
The region has seen many sectarian attacks in the past.
