A bomb hidden in a bag at a busy bus station in southern Nepal exploded, killing two people and wounding 12 others, officials said today.

The station in Chandranigahapur town was crowded with passengers and other people sheltering from a heavy downpour when the blast struck last night, according to Durga Bhandari, the chief official of Rautahat district where Chandranigahapur is located.
