Israeli rights group releases beating video
An Israeli human rights group has released a video showing what it says are Jewish settlers attacking a Palestinian family as they tended their sheep in the West Bank.
The attack on June 8 in the area of the Jewish settlement of Susya in the southern West Bank left an elderly Palestinian couple and their nephew wounded from blows to the head, face and hands.
The video released by the B'tselem human rights group shows four men with their faces and necks covered with cloth, holding clubs as they walk towards the Palestinians in a field.
The video breaks off after one of the men begins to hit the younger Palestinian. The woman filming the video, Tamam Nawaja, 60, apparently dropped the camera when she went to help.
The nephew, Imran Salameh, has said the men he described as settlers told him to get off the land.
