Girl, 4, shoots herself in shop

A four-year-old girl who accidentally shot herself with her grandmother’s gun in a South Carolina shop is recovering, authorities said today.

Columbia police spokesman Brick Lewis said the child had improved to a stable condition after an emergency operation yesterday.
