Spanish fuel protest starts to bite

Striking Spanish lorry drivers today clogged roads leading into Madrid and other cities on the second day of action over rising fuel costs.

The Interior Ministry said all major roads leading into the capital were bumper-to-bumper because of trucks moving at a snail’s pace as part of the protest.
