Two soldiers killed in Afghanistan suicide blast

Nato said two of its soldiers were killed in a suicide car bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan, where the majority of Nato troops are American.

Nato says the bomb attack in the city of Jalalabad also wounded four soldiers from Nato’s International Security Assistance Force.

ISAF does not identify the nationalities of killed or wounded soldiers, but the vast majority of troops in that area are American.

Interior Ministry spokesman Zemeri Bashary said the blast also wounded four Afghan civilians and damaged five vehicles.

Mr Bashary said the explosion was triggered by a suicide car bomb attacker.
