Nicaragua calls for Central American food plan
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega says Central American countries need to draw a plan to confront a regional food crisis as a group.
Mr Ortega says the region needs to develop a production and marketing alliance for regional farm goods.
He says Central American countries also need to look for ways to finance farming and ensure basic food supplies.
