Twenty injured in German train crash

Police say that 20 people suffered bruises and some fractures after a train travelling from Hamburg to Munich apparently collided with a flock of sheep near a rail tunnel.

Deutsche Bahn said the train was near Fulda when it likely hit the sheep around 9pm yesterday.

About 20 sheep were found dead near the seven-mile tunnel.

Police said the train is inside the tunnel, though its 170 passengers have been evacuated and taken by bus to a nearby town.
