Churches warn of Zimbabwe 'genocide'

Church leaders in Zimbabwe today warned that Robert Mugabe’s opponents were being tortured and murdered in a deliberate campaign that could reach “genocidal” proportions.

Leaders of all denominations called for international intervention to help end the country’s post-election crisis.
