Militants welcome release of pro-Taliban leader

A Pakistani militant spokesman has welcomed a pro-Taliban leader’s release but says the rebels will continue fighting for Islamic law in the northwest.

Muslim Khan made the comments on behalf of fugitive militant leader Maulana Fazlullah, whose father-in-law Sufi Muhammad was released yesterday.
