Protesters march against US missile-base plan in Czech Rep.

More than 2,000 people protested against US plans to build a missile defence base outside the Czech capital today, Communist Party organisers said.

The protesters gathered in the town of Misov and marched to the border of a military zone about 50 miles southwest of Prague where the US wants to locate a missile tracking radar system, Czech news television CT24 said.
