Brown ups pressure on Mugabe

Gordon Brown upped the pressure on Robert Mugabe over Zimbabwe’s presidential election today, demanding the results be published immediately.

In a fresh condemnation of reported violence in the wake of the poll two weeks ago, the British prime minister said such actions were “appalling”.
