Three women were arrested today by detectives investigating the alleged abduction of Shannon Matthews.

Amanda Hyett (aged 25) her sister Caroline Meehan (aged 29) and their mother Alice Meehan (aged 49) are all being held on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
