Thailand: Illegal immigrants suffocate in airless lorry

More than 50 people, mostly women, suffocated to death trapped in the back of a lorry smuggling them from Burma into Thailand.

The victims, along with 47 survivors, were being taken to Phuket to seek jobs in the booming tourist centre.
