McCann friends to be quizzed by police

Portuguese detectives will today start questioning the friends of Kate and Gerry McCann who were with them the night their daughter Madeleine disappeared.

Three Portuguese officers will sit in as detectives from Leicestershire Constabulary interview members of the “Tapas Seven” – friends of the McCanns who dined with the couple close to their holiday apartment in the resort of Praia da Luz.
