At least two people have been killed in fresh clashes between Tibetan protesters and Chinese police.

The violence followed a demonstration yesterday in Garze, a prefecture in Sichuan province, which started as a peaceful march by monks and nuns but turned violent when armed police tried to suppress the crowd.
