Spain faces snow gridlock

Heavy snowfall is hindering road traffic as millions of Spaniards prepare to end their Easter Holidays.

Spain’s meteorology institute is warning that 13 northern provinces face “important risk” of heavy snow – the second highest warning level – and traffic police urged motorists to take care on several mountain passes.
