British publisher accused over Bhutto book

A suspect in an October bombing against a former prime minister of Pakistan has issued legal notices to the British publishers of her memoirs, accusing them of defamation.

A lawyer for Qari Saifullah Akhtar in Pakistan said his client has been falsely named as a planner of an attack in Karachi that killed about 150 people welcoming Benazir Bhutto’s return from exile.
