Spitzer quits over vice scandal as prostitute involved is revealed

Disgraced New York governor Eliot Spitzer has said he was “deeply sorry” as he resigned following his involvement in a worldwide prostitution ring.

The crusader against corruption and the “Sheriff of Wall Street” resigned yesterday.
