Organisers of a national demonstration to mark the fifth anniversary of the start of the war in Iraq said today they expected tens of thousands of people to join a call for British troops to be brought home.

The Stop the War Coalition is running its 21st national event, in central London on Saturday, and expects around 50,000 people from across the UK to take part.
