Serbian elections set for May

Serbia’s president has dissolved parliament and called early parliamentary elections in May.

Boris Tadic says the parliamentary elections will be held on May 11.

The early vote is the result of Tadic’s rift with nationalists over Kosovo’s independence and Serbia’s future in the European Union.
