Gang guns down boy, six

A six-year-old boy was fighting for his life today after he was shot in the head in a suspected gang attack on a carload of people in Los Angeles.

Officer Ana Aguirre said two young men walked up to a car at around noon yesterday in the city’s Harbour Gateway section.

One of the men flashed gang signs and fired shots at the vehicle, which had three adults and three children inside.

The wounded boy was taken to a hospital in a critical condition.

Officer Aguirre said the people in the car were not local and were driving around looking for an address.
