UK: Two found dead in bus station
Two men found dead in a British town centre bus station are believed to have been sleeping rough, police in the UK said today.
Officers were called to the Transport Interchange in Barnsley, South Yorkshire at 4.25am today but the men were already dead.
The men, aged 26 and 36-years-old, are thought to have been local but have not been named.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The deaths are not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
“It’s believed the men had been sleeping rough at this location over night.
“A post mortem to establish the cause of death has yet to be arranged.”
Officers said they could not speculate on whether the atrocious weather conditions overnight had anything to do with the tragedy.
