US: Nine injured in shopping centre gas blast

At least nine people were injured when a suspected gas blast ripped through a shopping centre in the US today, fire officials said.

Eight people were taken to hospital, none with life-threatening injuries, and another was treated at the scene in Waukegan, Illinois, Deputy Fire Chief Dan Young said.
