Wallstrom rejects concerns about EU super-state
The vice-president of the European Commission has rejected claims that the Lisbon Treaty is another step towards an EU super-state.
Margot Wallstrom is in Dublin this morning to encourage the Irish people to support the treaty.
She says a 'yes' vote will mean more effective decision-making on issues like job creation, crime, terrorism and climate change.
Ms Wallstrom also denied it will reduce Ireland's influence on law-making.
