UK: Family faces third day without missing nine-year-old

The frantic family of missing UK schoolgirl Shannon Matthews was facing a third day today not knowing what has become of the nine-year-old.

There have been no confirmed sightings of the youngster since she left school on Tuesday afternoon following a swimming trip.
