Obama 'to win Virginia primary'

Barack Obama will win Virginia’s primary election, the first of three states holding their contests today, CNN projected.

The 46-year-old Illinois senator is hoping for a clean sweep in a bid to build on his four wins over the weekend and possibly take the lead from Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic Party’s nomination.
