UK: Lodger found dead in flat after eight years

The body of a man believed to be dead for nearly a decade has been found in a flat where a council tenant continued to live.

The corpse, the tenant’s former lodger, was found by council workers on a sofa in the lounge after neighbours reported a foul smell emanating from the Bristol flat.
