Nato front-line countries increase pressure on allies

Nations on the front line in Afghanistan stepped up pressure on their Nato allies today warning their refusal to join the battle was threatening the country’s future.

Troops from countries like Britain, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark and Romania have borne the brunt of Taliban violence in the southern provinces over the past year.
