Suharto remains critical but stable

Former Indonesian dictator Suharto’s condition remained critical but stable today, as his doctors continued their efforts to help him recover from multiple organ failure.

Suharto made significant progress over the weekend, when he began moving his hands and trying to speak after spending more than two weeks on life support.
