Kenyan president urged to concede poll defeat

Kenya’s opposition candidate called on President Mwai Kibaki to concede defeat today, accusing him of fraud as a chaotic vote count sparked a second day of deadly violence that has killed at least 14 people.

Raila Odinga said the government had lost all legitimacy and could not govern, three days after the vote.
