Karzai and Musharraf in talks on tackling militants

Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf and Afghan President Hamid Karzai discussed how they could jointly fight terrorism and Islamic extremism along their shared border when they met today.

“People from both the countries are suffering under the hands of extremism and terrorism,” Musharraf said during a news conference in Islamabad.
