Ceremonies mark third anniversary of Asian tsunami
Survivors and families of the Asian tsunami have gathered to mark the third anniversary of the disaster.
The waves were triggered by the strongest earthquake in 40 years.
Up to 230,000 people were killed in 12 Indian Ocean nations.
A hundred people attended the quiet memorial service in the Thai beach resort town of Khao Lak.
Tourist Janet Davidson who attended the ceremony said it makes her realise how lucky she is to have survived the disaster.
