US homes still hit by storm's after-effects
More than 100,000 homes and businesses were still without power across two US states and parts of Canada today as the impact of a winter storm lingered more than a week after it brought chaos to the area.
Oklahoma was hardest hit with more than 91,000 homes and businesses without power. Some people had spent all their money stocking up on food before the storm, only to see it spoil when the electricity failed.
