Bird flu control zones to be lifted in Anglia, UK
Control zones set up to prevent the spread of bird flu from farms infected with the disease in East Anglia will begin to lift from Saturday, the British Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said today.
As long as no further disease is detected, the 3km (two mile) protection zone put in to stop it spreading from Redgrave Park Farm where the virus was first discovered will lift on Saturday.
