Police beating case man, Rodney King, shot

Rodney King, whose beating by Los Angeles police in 1991 drew international headlines, has been shot, but his wounds are not life-threatening, according to media reports.

Rialto police Sergeant Don Lewis told the Riverside Press-Enterprise that Mr King was hit in the face and arm by shotgun pellets on a San Bernardino street corner on Wednesday night.
