US: Child sex marine admits more charges

A former US Marine who abducted and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old British girl he met in an internet chatroom has pleaded guilty to more charges in America, it emerged today.

Tony Studabaker ,35, was jailed in Britain three years ago after admitting taking the girl from Greater Manchester to Paris then across Europe sparking a huge manhunt in July 2003.

He was deported back to America earlier this year after serving his sentence.

Studabaker, from Michigan, entered the pleas in the US District Court.

The charges are transporting a child across international borders for the purpose of sexual exploitation and possession of child pornography.

Police said they discovered numerous images of child pornography on Studabaker’s personal computer.
