Paris suburb hit by violence

Rioting has broken out in France after two teenagers died in a road accident involving a police car.

Dozens of youths pelted a police station in the Paris suburb of Sarcelles with petrol bombs. Shots were fired at officers and a police captain was taken to hospital with a serious injury to the face after he tried to negotiate with the mob, a police union official said.
