Khan detained after appearance at Pakistan rally

Pakistan opposition leader Imran Khan appeared at a student demonstration against emergency rule before being promptly detained by police, his party said today.

Some 200 students cheered wildly and lifted Khan into the air when the former cricket star appeared on a university campus in the eastern city of Lahore.
