Oprah school hit by sex abuse allegations

Oprah Winfrey said today she was "devastated and really shaken to my core" when she discovered girls at her South Africa academy had made complaints of sexual abuse.

Dormitory matron Tiny Virginia Makopo, 27, faces 13 charges of indecent assault, assault and criminal injury following the alleged incidents at Winfrey's $40m (€27.6m) school for disadvantaged girls in Africa.
