'Lost' Turner masterpiece among auction highlights

One of Vincent Van Gogh’s last landscapes and a Turner masterpiece thought by many to have been lost are among the highlights at art auctions this autumn.

JMW Turner’s Bamborough Castle, a watercolour not seen in public since 1889, went on show at Sotheby’s in New York yesterday, ahead of its sale on December 5 in London.
