Afghanistan: 50 killed in gun battle
A six-hour battle in southern Afghanistan left over 50 militants killed or wounded, officials said today.
The Nato-led troops assisted Afghan National Army during the battle in Baluch village, in Uruzgan province, which left āmore than 50 enemies killed or woundedā and 13 others detained yesterday, a statement from Defence Ministry said.
