Feet insult ends in death

A 22-year-old man stabbed his roommate to death after being accused of having smelly feet.

William Antonio Serrano and the victim, who has not been named, were drinking when he told Serrano his feet had a foul odour.

Serrano grabbed a knife and stabbed the man several times, police in Houston, Texas said.

Serrano was charged with murder and was being held in jail today.

Police said the two men shared a 10-foot-by-10-foot bedroom they sub-let from a married couple, who also lived in the apartment.
